A public Affairs Analyst, Chigozie Ubani has said that there is low turnout of investment in Abia state due to poor access roads which affects the development of the state. Speaking on Channels Television breakfast programme, Mr Ubani said that the state has no form of development, no roads and has not conducted any local government election in recent times. He said to fix the collapse of industries in Abia state would require a government headed by someone who can incubate ideas, insisting that the present administration has not done enough to revive the collapses because it lacks ideas of what to do. Mr Ubani said that the governor of Abia state, Theodore Orji, assured a community of 5,000 people electricity but has not done anything about it, “there is too little for so much”. He accused the government of the hiring people to sing their trumpet when they have not added any value to the development of the state. He said that infrastructure is a big challenge in the state, he gave an example of these roads, Fox road he said has been abandoned. He also said that some of the roads that are being worked on are of low quality.
