Nigeria’s Ajoke Odumosu has crashed out from the 400m Women’s Hurdles event at the ongoing IAAF Athletics Championships in Moscow Russia.
Ajoke whom won the 2010 gold medal in the 400 metres hurdles at the Commonwealth Games was disqualified after a false start.
The Alabama based huddler and national record holder was expected to at least make it to the finals. But it was the not the case as she was sent out in the first round due to the error.
Ajoke represented Nigeria at the 2008 Summer Olympics and competed at the World Championship in Athletics in 2007 and 2009. She was the bronze medallist at the 2007 all African-Games and went on to become the continental champion with a win at the 2008 African Championship.
Czech runner, Zuzana Hejnova, finally won the Heat 2 with a time of 55.25 seconds in the IAAF Athletics Championships .
