<\/em>In the midst of all the Easter festivities, tragedy almost struck in Karu, a satellite town of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Monday evening, as an explosion suspected to be from a waste can rattled an undeveloped plot of land behind the Mr. Biggs franchise in the area.<\/p>\n

The explosion, reportedly occurred around 4.35pm, scaring passers-by and shattered the glass windows of nearby buildings, including those of Karu Shopping Complex housing the eatery.<\/p>\n

Sources say the impact of the explosion was felt several metres away from where it took place.<\/p>\n

At the time of this report, there had been no reported casualty.<\/p>\n
