\u00a0<\/strong>The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has been advised to Partner with credible Civil Society Organizations to ensure grassroots Civic Voter Education on Election Matters.<\/p>\n

The Director General of the Centre for credible Leadership and Citizens Awareness, Nwambu Gabriel gave the advice at a media briefing on Tuesday in Abuja.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Gabriel explained that as one of the Nineteen Independent Civil Society Groups accredited by INEC to Monitor the FCT Area Council Polls, the Centre observed that there was high level Voter apathy and low turnout of Voters<\/p>\n

He however commended the Leadership of INEC and Security Agencies for the success of last Month\u2019s FCT area Council Polls which conduct he described as being in line with International Best Practices and Globally accepted Standards.<\/p>\n
