The Super Eagles have slipped down in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released for the month of April on Thursday.

Nigeria now occupies the 31st position in world football, according to April’s FIFA rankings.

The Black Stars of Ghana also slipped down two places in the World Ranking but maintained their hold as the number two on the continent.

The Black Stars are now ranked 22 in the World.

The Super Eagles needed a last-minute equaliser to draw 1-1 with Kenya in Calabar, in a World Cup qualifying match and that result has seen them drop from the 30th spot they sat for the past two months.

However, Nigeria is still fourth in Africa, behind Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana and Mali.

World champions Spain are still locked up as the number one ahead of Germany and Argentina.
