\u2018Twice as tall\u2018, the album of Grammys winner Burna Boy has been nominated for the 2021 BRIT awards.<\/p>\n
The Nation<\/em> had reported the 29-year- old singer became the first Nigerian to win an individual Grammy for best album in the \u2018World Music category\u2019.<\/p>\n Organisers of the 2021 BRIT Awards, which is sometimes referred to as the British version of the Grammys, unveiled the nominees on Wednesday.<\/p>\n Burna Boy was nominated for the \u2018International Male Solo Artist\u2019 category alongside The Weekend, Bruce Springsteen, Childish Gambino and Tame Impala.<\/p>\n He was nominated for the same category last year for \u2018African Giant\u2019 his 2019 album but lost to Tyler The Creator, American singer-songwriter.<\/p>\n The awards will take place on 11 May 2021.<\/p>\n Usually held in February, the ceremony was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic<\/p>\n It will be hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall.<\/p>\nRead Also:\u00a0<\/span>Burna Boy: Insight into fifth album Twice as Tall<\/a><\/h1>\n
