Sequel to the attacked on security formations in Gashua, Yobe state on Thursday, officers of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in the state on Saturday, \u00a0recovered items taken from the divisional police station and the area command in the area.<\/strong><\/em> \"\"Suspected members of the dreaded sect the Boko Haram had killed two police personnel and taken away several items including a police Toyota Hilux bullet proof Van. A statement by the military spokesman Lieutenant Eli Lazarus indicates that security forces drilled the hoodlums and recovered the items in Maluria village of Gashua Local Government. Other items recovered include one General purpose Machine Gun (GPMG), three K2 rifle, three pump action rifle and one riot gun. The statement also said two smoke pistol, four Dane gun, two RPG bombs, 15 hand grenades and one air rifle were also recovered from the sect. 1,200 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, 3 charades, several police uniforms and accessories, 10 bullet proof metal plat and gas max were also recovered. Suspected members of the Boko Haram sect had on Thursday launched coordinated attacks on the Divisional Police station, the Area command and the JTF location in Gashua of Yobe state killing two police personnel in the process. The security forces killed five of the hoodlums as the area command of the Area was burnt.<\/p>\n
