The Nigerian National Assembly has initiated a forum aimed to facilitate the exchange of ideas between the Legislative and the Executive arm of Government in Africa.<\/p>\n

The Forum which goes by the name Africa Legislative Summit for Parliamentarians has been designed to promote integration in Africa and deepen Democracy for the benefit of the continent.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The President of the Nigerian Senate, David Mark, while inaugurating a \u2013 Nine \u2013 Man Management Committee, remarked that the summit will explore issues of common interest that will advance Democratic Practice in Africa.Chairman of the steering Committee and Leader of the Nigerian Senate,Victor Ndoma \u2013 Egba who spoke on behalf of members, said the deepening of Democracy and mutual cooperation among countries on the continent will be the focus of discussion and activities of the Committee.<\/p>\n
