The Nigerian Teachers Institute is partnering The British Council and Nokia in the use of mobile phone to enhance the learning of English Language in Schools.<\/p>\n

Minister of Education Professor Ruquayatu Rufai says the partnership is aimed at improving teachers in ICT skills and preparing them to teach others on how to use technology<\/p>\n

The Director General and The Chief Executive of National Teachers Institute Ladan Sharehu\u00a0 says the service will be freely assessable to all the\u00a0 participants of this project and is one of the first attempts to use mobile technology to assist\u00a0 teachers in their professional classroom practicesThe Mobile Technology and Teachers Development is a brain-child of (UNESCO) which is set to take off in four countries of the world including Nigeria.<\/strong><\/p>\n
