The Senior Special Assistant to The President on Millennium Development Goals, Dr. Precious Gbeneol, wants Communities in Imo State to be more involved in the planning and implementation of MDGS Projects and Programmes.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Dr. Gbeneol who was speaking at an advocacy visit to the South East State said Benefitting Communities will gain more when they actively participate in both the evaluation and maintenance of such projects through laid down structures.<\/p>\n

The Presidential aide appealed to Governor Rochas Okorocha and Other Leaders in The State to help mobilise and encourage Benefitting Communities to see the scheme as their own to enable them protect the projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Governor Rochas Okorocha thanked the team for the visit and expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the partnership between the thirty six States and The Office of The Senior Special Assistant to The President on MDGS.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Governor re-assured The Team that his Administration will always honour its counterpart obligations to enable Nigeria meet the MDGS 2015 target.<\/strong><\/p>\n
