\u00a0<\/strong>The Primate of the Anglican Church in Nigeria, most Reverend Nicholas Okoh is strongly opposed to the idea of declaring a State of Emergency in some parts of The Country following the latest killings in Borno, Nasarawa and Benue States.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 <\/strong>The Man of God wants The Nigerian Government to take a Wholistic view of the entire Security Situation in The Country as opposed to a quick-fix approach.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 <\/strong>The Primate told Journalists in Abuja that there is need for a National Conference to chart the way forward on the various challenges facing the Country.<\/p>\n

Archbishop Okoh urged The Government to ensure equitable representation in The Presidential Committee on Amnesty for Boko Haram.<\/p>\n

According to Him, the issue of Boko Haram is not a Northern affair but an issue of National Security.<\/p>\n

He called on The Federal Government to address The Persistent issue of grazing reserves for Cattle Rearers.<\/p>\n

The Primate urged Government to take urgent steps towards disarming different Militia Groups to forestall further Communal Clashes.<\/p>\n
