The list of nominees has been released for the 2013 edition of the prestigious BET Awards holding at the\u00a0Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on the 30th of June.<\/p>\n

The nominees were unveiled at a press conference presided over by BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials,\u00a0Stephen G. Hill. Leading the pack was hip-hop artiste Drake with 12 nominations while Kendrick Lamar and 2Chainz Are tied with 8 nominations.<\/p>\n

Slugging it out in the coveted\u00a0\u2018Best International Act: Africa\u2019\u00a0category are:\u00a02Face Idibia\u00a0(Nigeria),\u00a0Toya Delazy\u00a0(South Africa),\u00a0Donald\u00a0(South Africa),\u00a0Ice Prince\u00a0(Nigeria),\u00a0R2Bees\u00a0(Ghana) and Uganda’s\u00a0Radio and Weasel.<\/div>\n
