The remains of the Late world renowned Literary Icon, Late Prof Chinualumogu Achebe was laid to rest in his family compound, Nkwelle Ogidi by 5:18 pmon Thursday amidst wailing , tears and cries by immediate family, relatives and friends.<\/p>\n

Contrary to the anticipated between the traditionalists and Church members, Achebe was buried peacefully without any disagreement.<\/p>\n

Achebe was honoured at death by the presence of Nigeria\u2019s President Goodluck Jonathan, President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana, and six Governors including the host Governor, Mr Peter Obi of Anambra state and Dr Emma Uduaghan of Delta state .<\/p>\n
