Mautz of Aus\u00adtral\u00adian Na\u00adt\u00adional Uni\u00advers\u00adity and col\u00adleagues. We tested for the ef\u00adfects of flac\u00adcid pe\u00adnis size, body shape (shoulder-to-hip ra\u00adtio), and height on male sex\u00adu\u00adal at\u00adtractiveness. The im\u00adages used in the study were life-sized in or\u00adder to more real\u00adis\u00adtic\u00adally as\u00adsess the role of height, Mautz and col\u00adleagues wrote. They not\u00aded that a fe\u00adma\u00adle\u2019s own body shape could in\u00adflu\u00adence her rat\u00adings, too; for in\u00adstance, taller wom\u00aden placed more of a pre\u00admi\u00adum on taller men.<\/p>\n

The huge ef\u00adfect of shoulder-to-hip ra\u00adtio might have re\u00adsulted be\u00adcause the com\u00adput\u00ader fig\u00adures veered strongly in\u00adto \u201cunat\u00adtractive\u201d ter\u00adri\u00adto\u00adry with wid\u00ader hips than shoul\u00adders, the sci\u00aden\u00adtists spec\u00adu\u00adlat\u00aded. \u201cHow\u00adever, giv\u00aden in\u00adcreas\u00ading waist\u00adlines, the val\u00adues we used are well with\u00adin the range now seen in ma\u00adny West\u00adern coun\u00adtries.\u201d<\/p>\n

If there is any \u201cide\u00adal\u201d pe\u00adnis size, it seems to be larg\u00ader than range shown in the stu\u00addy, which went from 5 to 13 cm (2 to 5.1 inch\u00ades), the sci\u00aden\u00adtists found. Yet the pe\u00adnis size-related boosts in at\u00adtractiveness were found to di\u00admin\u00adish pro\u00adgres\u00adsively for pe\u00adnises over 7.6 cm (3 inch\u00ades) long. Pe\u00adnis width was\u00adn\u2019t stud\u00adied as a sep\u00ada\u00adrate fac\u00adtor, but rath\u00ader was lumped to\u00adgeth\u00ader with length, as larg\u00ader pe\u00adnises were shown as both wid\u00ader and long\u00ader.<\/p>\n

\u201cLarger pe\u00adnis size had a great\u00ader ef\u00adfect on at\u00adtractiveness for taller men\u201d af\u00adter con\u00adtrol\u00adling for the shoulder-to-hip ra\u00adtio, the in\u00adves\u00adti\u00adga\u00adtors wrote. This \u201ccould be be\u00adcause per\u00adceived pe\u00adnis size was smaller when as\u00adsessed rel\u00ada\u00adtive to the height of a taller ma\u00adn; or be\u00adcause of gen\u00ader\u00adal dis\u00adcrimina\u00adt\u00adion against short men ir\u00adre\u00adspec\u00adtive of the val\u00adue of oth\u00ader traits, so that even a larg\u00ader pe\u00adnis did lit\u00adtle to in\u00adcrease their net at\u00adtractiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n
