A High Court sitting in Awka Anambra State Capital has upheld the National convention of the All Progressive Grand Alliance as a valid convention.<\/p>\n

Justice Hope Oguguo Ozo in a judgement in the suit filed by Mark Joe Onwudinjo contesting the validity of the April Eighth 2013 National convention of APGA ruled in favour of the defendants Maxi Okwu and Igbo Onyibe Okoye who were the first and second respondents.<\/p>\n

Justice Ozo however disregarded the Plaintif\u2019s prayer that the National convention which took place at an unholy hour did not allow him contest the position of APGA\u2019S National Vice Chairman since enough notice was not given as to the change of the venue initially slated for Enugu State but conducted at Awka on the Eighth of April<\/p>\n

Justice Ozo also confirmed the validity of the other APGA congress held in Anambra State.<\/p>\n

In a reaction, Counsel to APGA representing Victor Umeh\u2019s faction said the Court of Appeal\u2019s ruling on the stay of execution stays.<\/p>\n
