A man identified as Ganiu Adeleke, 32 was on Friday arraigned before an Ibadan Chief Magistrates\u2019 Court for allegedly biting off part of his neighbour\u2019s ear.<\/p>\n

According to the prosecutor, Sgt. Foluke Adedosu, Adeleke committed the crime in the company of another person who is now at large.<\/p>\n

She alleged that the suspect committed the crime with intent to leave an indelible mark on his victim, Aminat Otunkoyka.<\/p>\n

The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of conspiracy and assault.<\/p>\n

Adeleke\u2019s lawyer, Tope Olayinka, thereafter applied to the court for bail on liberal terms.<\/p>\n

Chief Magistrate Adams Adeshina granted the accused bail in the sum of N20, 000 with two reliable sureties in like sum.<\/p>\n

The case was then adjourned to June 18 for further hearing.<\/p>\n
