by Citizens Platform<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/strong><\/em>The All Nigerians People Party (ANPP) is set to name nine officials who will fill the slots allocated to it under the All Progressive Congress (APC) merger deal.<\/span><\/p>\n It has also set up a committee headed by its national chairman, Chief OgbonnayaOnu, to share the offices.<\/p>\n The committee, which comprises of governors elected under the ANPP platform, is also mandated to continue the merger talks with the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), which form the coalition APC.<\/p>\n The ANPP national publicity secretary, Emma Enuekwu, said the party\u2019s NEC resolved to set up a new committee on merger talks, headed by Onu.<\/p>\n Enuekwu said the committee is mandated to continue to act on behalf of the ANPP in the merger negotiations until APC is registered, adding that the committee will handle the sharing of the offices and positions allotted to ANPP under the merger arrangement.<\/p>\n The APC merger committee, drawn from the 3 merging parties last week announced the end of its assignment of streamlining the modalities for the emergence of the interim leadership of the APC.<\/p>\n It referred further work for registration of the APC to the individual parties.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n ——————————————————————————————————————————————- Source: Citizens Platform<\/p>\n DisNaija.Com<\/b> publishes regular posts on Nigeria News,<\/a> Nigerian Newspapers,<\/a> Online Nigeria Gist.<\/a><\/p>\n Follow us on Twitter<\/a> and Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n
