\"\"Senate Minority Leader, Senator George Akume says the overwhelming support the All Progressives Congress (APC) enjoys, is a pointer to its political fortunes against the Ruling Peopl<\/em><\/strong>e\u2019s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 general elections.<\/em><\/strong> Senator Akume stated this in Lafia when he visited the Nasarawa state governor, Tanko Almakura as part of efforts to mobilise support for the registration of apc with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Describing the birth of APC as a credible alternative to the ruling party, the ACN senator representing Benue North West, said the party will bring about uncommon transformation of the country, starting with political victory at the 2015 general elections. Governor Almakura while responding said \u201cthe opposition parties have performed creditably and will seize the opportunity in 2015 to correct the misrule of the PDP administration\u201d.<\/p>\n
