He said the rumour is only\u00a0 aimed at causing disaffection and destabilising the state.<br \/> The governor stressed that said a cordial relationship exists between the two of them.\u00a0 \u201cI have never beaten anybody in my life. In fact, I don\u2019t beat my children, let alone beating any other person. More so, the Deputy Governor is older than me, so how do I beat an elderly person.\u201d He said.<br \/> Aregbesola made these clarifications at a seven hour live programme tagged \u2018Ogbeni till day break,\u2019 during the weekend.<br \/> He further stated that \u201cI don\u2019t have any quarrel with my Deputy, and I can\u2019t have any with her because I intentionally chose her and no one choose her for me.<br \/> \u201cI think I can work with her and that is why I chose her. So, no differences exist between us.\u201d<br \/> The Deputy governor who was also present at the programme corroborated the claims of the governor and said that a cordial relationship exists between her and the governor.
