Renewed conflict on\u00a0Kumbul village in Wase Local Government Area in Plateau state has seen to the death of five persons with several others seriously injured in the process, eyewitness say.<\/p>\n

The attackers unleashed terror on the community\u00a0 in the early hours of Sunday leading to the burning down of several houses.<\/p>\n

According to the spokesperson of the special task force in Plateau, Captain Salisu Mustapha, who confirmed the attack, he said only one person, was killed.<\/p>\n

Wase Local Government has witnessed several attacks of recent, in April 18 persons were reported killed and several others injured in that local government.<\/p>\n

Over 300 women and children have fled the community in the past due to the conlicts and continued attack of the village by unknown gunmen.<\/p>\n

Cattle rustling has been one of\u00a0 the major causes of\u00a0 outbreak of violence in the area.<\/p>\n

Details still sketchy as at the time of filling this report.<\/p>\n
