The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,\u00a0 Monday announced members of it’s National disciplinary committee in a bid to ensure erring party members are disciplined.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Chairman of the Party disciplinary committee is Dr. Umaru Dikko and the members are to be inaugurated by the National Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.<\/p>\n

The party said, “In Pursuant to the provisions of Articles 57 (1), (2), (3) of the\u00a0Constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the leadership of\u00a0the party has approved the composition of the PDP National\u00a0Disciplinary Committee.”<\/p>\n

Members of the Committee are as follows:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dr. Umaru Dikko\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chairman<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 King A.J. Turner\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Deputy\u00a0Chairman<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Member<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Alh. Shuaibu Oyedokun\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Member<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hajiya Nana Ayishat Kadiri\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Member<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Barr. Hussaini Diraki\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Member<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sen. Emmanuel Agboti\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Secretary<\/p>\n

The statement added, “the Committee shall be inaugurated by the National Chairman, Alhaji\u00a0Dr. Bamanga Tukur CON at a date to be announced later.”<\/p>\n

Umaru Dikko is a Nigerian politician and was a trusted adviser to President Shehu Shagari. He was also the Nigerian Minister for Transportation from 1979-1983.<\/p>\n

He became active in governance in 1967, when he was appointed as a commissioner in the then North Central State of Nigeria.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
