Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso, on\u00a0Tuesday morning\u00a0led a delegation of government and security officials on a sympathy visit to victims of Monday night\u2019s bomb and gun attacks.<\/p>\n

The attacks took place late Monday when some bombs exploded at a relaxation spot in Sabon Gari area of the state capital, Kano.<\/p>\n

No fewer than 20 persons were reported dead and scores injured in the bomb and gun\u00a0attacks\u00a0believed to be the handiwork of the Boko Haram sect.<\/p>\n

The governor’s entourage included the Commander, 3 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Brig-Gen. Ilyasu Abbah; Commissioner of Police, Musa Daura; State Director, Department of State Security, Mr. Bassey Eteng; and other\u00a0government officials.<\/p>\n
