The first stage of ticket sales for the 2014 FIFA World Cup football competition began in Brazil on Aug. 20,\u00a0\u00a0PANA reports.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the sales, FIFA\u2019s Director of Marketing, Thierry Weil, met with journalists at the Arena de Sao Paulo, venue of the competition\u2019s opening match.<\/p>\n

At the meeting, he clarified doubts about the ticketing process and presented the Ticketing Fan Guide.<\/p>\n

The guide is a clear, simple document with details on all the steps required to purchase tickets to the biggest football tournament on the planet.<\/p>\n

The first phase of the sales will last till October 10, when all requests will be amalgamated and processed together.<\/p>\n
