The Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Abubakar, has confirmed the appointment of the Chief Superintendent of Police Frank Mba, as the Force Public Relations Officer.<\/p>\n

The IG made the confirmation Wednesday in Abuja.<\/p>\n

Mba assumed the position of force deputy spokesman in\u00a0Jan. 2012 and until the confirmation, Mba was the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer..<\/p>\n

Between 2007 and 2011, he was the Police Public Relations Officer for Lagos Command. Mba was enlisted into the police in May, 1992 as a cadet Inspector.<\/p>\n

Mba studied law at the University of Lagos, Akoka, between 1995 and 2000 and graduated with an LLB Degree (Second Class Upper Division).<\/p>\n

Mba was promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in 1999, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in 2003, and Superintendent of Police (SP) in\u00a02006.<\/p>\n
