Oboabona on arrival in Turkey Turkish club Rizespor have announced the acquisition of Nigeria defender Godfrey Oboabona.<\/p>\n

According to a statement on the club’s official website signed by the club’s director and press officer Spacious Aykut, the ex-Sunshine Stars captain sealed a four year deal.<\/p>\n

AFCON 2013 winner will formalise the deal with contract signing ceremony as well as unveiling on Thursday August 22 at Rizespor Mehmet Cengiz club house.<\/p>\n

The versatile player, who could play central defence, defensive midfield or right fullback, is expected to earn 450,000 Euros a year.<\/p>\n

Oboabona arrived Turkey on Tuesday to seal the celebrated deal.<\/p>\n

He became the second Nigeria player at Rizespor as he joined ex-Enyimba striker Uche Kalu.<\/p>\n
