The Divisional Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in charge of Kuje Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mrs. Eunice Bosede Ojo, has appealed to the chairman of the area Council, Hon. Ishayaku Shaban Tete to provide a befitting office accommodation as well as office facilities for the men of NSCDC in Kuje to enhance productivity.
She also urged the chairman to provide patrol vehicles for the corps to enable them to fight criminals in the area.
Ojo, who made the appeal while presenting her address at the stakeholders\u2019 forum on protection of critical infrastructures vandalism, oil theft and private guard companies which was organized by NSCDC in Kuje, further called for a residential office accommodation for the divisional officer.
She assured the chairman that NSCDC Kuje division would be committed to safeguard the infrastructures and national assets as well as lives and property in Kuje and its environs.
She appealed to the people of Kuje to always provide useful information that would aid the Corps in waging near against vandals and other criminals, said that the fight against any form of criminality and vandalism was a collective responsibility.
In a separate interview with the chairman of the Council Hon. Ishayaku Shaban Tete called on other security agencies to emulate the good gesture of NSCDC by organizing the stakeholder\u2019s forum on security.
Tete advised the residents of Kuje to be security conscious at all times in the area, pointing out that war against crime was concern of everybody.<\/p>\n
