{"id":9073,"date":"2013-08-26T19:44:44","date_gmt":"2013-08-26T19:44:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/disnaija.com\/nigeria-news\/iyanya-sends-out-disclaimer-against-facebook-fraudsters\/"},"modified":"2020-04-14T01:54:58","modified_gmt":"2020-04-14T01:54:58","slug":"iyanya-sends-out-disclaimer-against-facebook-fraudsters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/disnaija.com\/iyanya-sends-out-disclaimer-against-facebook-fraudsters\/","title":{"rendered":"Iyanya sends out disclaimer against Facebook fraudsters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nigerian musician Inyanya has released a statement disclaiming reports of fraud by someone claiming to be him on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>Inyanya through his Twitter handle stated on Monday \u201cI have through the PR Company representing me sent an official disclaimer on recent report of fraud by someone on Facebook using my name\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease my real name on Facebook is Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk please disregard any other account that ask you to send money to them\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He also stated the real name and contact information of his manager and advised people to ignore anyone posing as him to ask for money.<\/p>\n<p>Citing instances of his experience with the imposters, Inyanya mentioned that \u201cA lady called my manger last week from Ireland saying she almost sent 50k dollars to a fake Iyanya (imposter) for a show.
