The Nigerian Super Eagles in Abidjan Saturday were beaten by the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire 2-0. The two goals came from the boots of Ivoirian Striker, Koelly Kevin Zougoula, in the 5th and 25th minute of the first half of the match as the Ivoirians looked to overturn a 4-1 deficit from the first-leg, but the Super Eagles rallied towards the end of the half and held on for all of the second.. However the Super Eagles secured a first time passage to the African Nations Championship despite losing 2-0 to an excellent Côte d’Ivoire team on the aggregate score of 4-1.
